Location, Location, Location, it is the primal call of the real estate agent bent on getting the best deal, but is it something that those in regional and remote centres need to look at?.
Drought of Service?
If your out in the sticks there are a some things you wont get, friends and family on tap, and a sense of community if you aren't able to facilitate those relationship, and with this control of circumstances out of the reach of your control, what if the water is running out, and the debt of years of drought are finally catching up, what is there for you to do:
Worm or beetle - drought or tempest - on a farmer's land may fall, Each is loaded full o' ruin, but a mortgage beats 'em all.
As the signs of rain diminish so do the prospects of hope for a better year.
The Online Chat Phenomenon
Many of the online chats for well known support websites reported that those who would contact them would be those who were in rural and remote, more noticeable than those who were in a more closer knit circumstances, making the idea that those who are limited to being able to call on others to assist in the dilemma of life and its circumstances, the farmer who's wife left because it really got that difficult, it is something many in circumstances where those who have hit rock bottom have reflected that it was things which led to the next thing because of such hardships without an aspect to lead to a resolution of hope.
Taking the leap forward
A lot of what exist for the rural communities doesn't work as well as in the metropolitan areas because of factors such as:
- Things can quickly deteriate;
- your age and who's available for you;
- what circumstances have led to the discovery of knowing your in a crisis;
- has the situation happened in similar circumstances at an earlier stage.
It is more difficult for those in rural area's to reach out and touch base with agencies in an area, as the circumstances generally reach a point and those who are in the situation feel that another way to fix the heartache is to shut it down
